Climate action
We measure and manage our greenhouse gas emissions using methodologies aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the internationally recognised standard for carbon accounting. Through our SBTi programme, we are developing a long-term climate strategy to guide future investment, operational improvements and supplier engagement.
Responsible Sourcing
We work with suppliers who support sustainable production practices and are committed to sourcing key raw materials responsibly. Bakels Edible Oils has been a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil since 2011 and can provide Certified Sustainable Palm Oil through recognised RSPO-certified supply chain models, including Mass Balance and Segregated options.
