The BEO team came together in May to celebrate Pink Shirt Day with our annual BBQ!

The BEO Technical Team recently travelled to Auckland to visit our sister company, NZ Bakels, to gain a better understanding of how products from our site are applied across a range of bakery applications.

BEO are heavily investing in continuous improvement at both our Mount Manganui and Timaru sites; this will unlock increased capacity, increase our sustainability, strategic agility and quality.

This year we found a gap in the COVID cloud to ramp it up a level and celebrate with 120 of our team over a great feed, some music, a few laughs and dancing.

The laboratory is a key facility for the management of quality at Bakels and home to our NPD development capability. 2022 will see changes to this space with some upgrades and additional capabilities.
